Assistant Project Manager
Job Summary

Material Handling company is hiring an Assistant Project Manager who will support all phases of our busy business.

The Assistant Project Manager will be responsible for assisting the Project Manager with all daily tasks and duties. Some of these items are listed below.

The right candidate will have the opportunity to grow into a Project Manager role.
Responsibilities include:

Work directly with project manager to help implement specific project goals
-
Assist with project estimates as well as business development with future clients
-
Assist with procuring materials and other items necessary for completing projects
-
Process submittals, request for information, shop drawings, and closeout documents
-
Liaise between our suppliers and fabricator to ensure production schedules are met
-
Weekly coordination with our installation crews to ensure project success and safety
Qualifications:
We are looking for someone to join our team that possesses the following attributes:
-
2 years of Office Administration is preferred
-
1 year of Construction office experience is preferred
-
Construction knowledge is a plus but is not required
-
Strong problem solving skills
-
High attention to detail
-
Self-motivated, flexible and eager to learn
-
Organized and can maintain organization when multi-tasking
-
Comfortable within the Microsoft Office environment of Word and Excel
